I am a clinical therapist who specializes in working with children as young as four, adolescents, and young adults. My clients learn to cope with anxiety, attention challenges, depression, high functioning autism, life transitions and sometimes, just the stressors of growing up in today’s world. I also work closely with parents and co-parents to provide them the support they deserve and help them learn skills to manage their children’s behaviors and build upon their strengths.

I believe that learning about the mind body connection is essential to recovery from mental health challenges and trauma.

In 2018, I co-founded Polliwog Kids Yoga, where I built the curriculum for a specialized trauma sensitive yoga and mindfulness training for those interested in teaching yoga and mindfulness to youth, and run yoga programs for children in Maryland. PKY was built upon the foundation of my pilot program, Anchored Mindfulness Education, which entered schools in 2017.

I have had training in mental heath and yoga. In 2011, I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a specialization in Families and Children. I completed a 200 hour yoga teacher certification from red lila yoga in 2016, and a specialized 95 hour training in children’s yoga in 2018 through Kidding Around Yoga.

I started my own business(es) so that I could authentically combine my passions to help youth live more successful and compassionate lives. There was no way for me to predict when I entered Social Work school in 2008 where my life would be now. As a small business owner, I have never worked so hard, or been so fulfilled, in my life. I get to wake up every day and follow my bliss, working tirelessly to help children, teens and young adults find peace so that one day they too can follow their own bliss.


If you work with me, you will hear me talk about self-care. A work-life balance is essential, and I value mine. When I’m not managing Healing Hart Wellness or Polliwog Kids Yoga, I can be found spending time with my family, seeing live music, hula hooping, hiking, writing, reading several books at a time, paddleboarding, spending time at the beach and hanging out with my one eyed rescue cat, Fury, and my Labradoodle, Frank.
