Yoga Teacher Trainer

My whole life, I’ve always sought to learn more and connect more with myself and others. That journey led me to begin practicing yoga in 2004 at Charm City Yoga in Baltimore.

Right away, I saw and felt the benefits of yoga in my body and my mind. I practiced sporadically for a few years, and then a close friend brought me to Lifeline Power Yoga in Towson, and it was there that I really committed to my yoga practice. I practiced intensely for about three years, and then I decided to complete yoga teacher training.

I completed my training and received my 200 hour certificate in 2013, and have now taught at several locations in and around the Baltimore area including yoga studios, climbing gyms and community shelters.

Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless,
and add what is specifically your own.
— Bruce Lee

I am a Registered Experienced Yoga Teacher (200 hours) and a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (95 hours) with the Yoga Alliance. I am also a Continuing Education Provider with the Yoga Alliance, and have developed continuing education trainings for teachers that focus on power and voice. I have experience teaching vinyasa yoga, yoga for climbers, yoga for children, meditation and private/community yoga events.

I believe that the transformative power of yoga reaches far beyond the confines of a yoga mat. I teach out of gratitude and service, and I hope that through my teaching, I can spark and nurture the transformation that yoga brought to me in others.

When I’m not teaching, or on my own yoga mat, I can be found writing, playing guitar, juggling, hiking and spending time with my son.
